Jesse Routsong's 3rd place helped the Bruins finish 7th at the El Cajon Invitational in San Diego.
SIX BRUINS PLACE IN SAN DIEGO
Six Bruin wrestlers made the trek back home with medals from the El Cajon Invitational in San Diego. Placing were Jesse Routsong 3rd, Paul Buchanan 3rd, Ken Steers 4th, Tim Ditrich 6th, Allen Emmons 7th and Sean Melton 8th. Ponderosa finished tied for 7th place among the 60 plus schools that attended. The Bruins will be back in action in Clovis at the Doc Buchanan Invitational January 8th and 9th.

The Bruins were 5-0 and beat tournament host Folsom in the finals at the Jailbreak Duals on Saturday.
BRUINS FIRST AT JAILBREAK DUALS
Another great weekend for Ponderosa as they completed the day 5-0 and moved to 12-0 on the season. Throughout the day the Bruins defeated Novato 66-0, Atwater 63-6, Exeter 38-33, Franklin 52-12 and Folsom in the finals 47-19. The four wrestlers that finished undefeated and named to the All-Tournament team were Nick Troquato, Jesse Routsong, Aaron DeMay, Allen Emmons and Paul Buchanan.

PONDO DUALS
The Pondo Varsity Duals competition took place on Friday with the Bruins finishing 1st place by winning their five duals. They defeated Rodriquez in the finals while beating Roseville, Lincoln, Will C. Wood and Woodcreek on their way.
